Almost done with the main line art! I just have to add some crawling vines at the legs of the throne. Can you guys suggest something for the background? I'm thinking of putting art nouveau-ish windows showing a landscape.
I like everything but the face, the coloring/shading looks a little too severe and it doesn't mesh with the rest of the illustration. It also doesn't entirely look like she's sitting down but I don't know how you could fix that at this point.

*agrees about the shading* i think my montior was a little too bright. when i checked it out in another pc, i was startled it was so dark. i'm fixing that when i continue coloring.
as for the pose, i think i can still fix it. thanks for pointing it out!

Sho, sho. That's pose isn't easy and when you're doing it in an Art Nouveau style which is almost by definition flat it makes it a much more difficult task. Hope everything turns out nicely for this.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
